Dear M, letters from a gentleman of excess

I forgot about this book. I ordered it before I moved here (recommended by my dear friend Jodie).

Jack Pollock, artist/gallery-owner moves to the south of France, seeking refuge from his emotionally bankrupt life. Before he leaves, he sees a psychiatrist a handful of times and as he is leaving his last session M casually says, 'Write me and I'll answer you.' Taking those words literally, Jack Pollock spends the next three years obsessively writing to M, disclosing himself, guts and glory.

I think my blog is Pollock's M.

I will go sit in the park and relish in all its madness while dissecting my own.
